Udi and Eric first met during a chance encounter over lunch at a local Vietnamese restaurant (both were enjoying some Pho). At the time, Eric along with his cousin, Adam Lussier, had a consulting business called Foxowl. The focus of their business was to help small business owners explore ways to grow their companies.

When Udi found that out, he hired Foxowl to explore the possibility of the world of granola. Foxowl soon researched the competitive landscape, sold Udi’s into numerous stores, worked out distribution, and put in place the foundation for creating a successful business.

When Udi realized that this granola business had huge potential, he asked Eric to give up his consulting business and focus on granola full-time. That offer came with a small price, ownership in the business and managing partner role for Udi’s Granola.
